Organized Crime in Developing Countries during the COVID-19 Pandemic
In early Summer 2020, IN-D-TEL's Chief Risk Officer, Charles Dumbrille, was interviewed the Canadian Association Security and Intelligence Studies – Vancouver, for their podcast series – Adversity Quotient. Observing the criminal social responsibility throughout Latin American, Dumbrille explores the potential gains made by organized crime syndicates and how law enforcement bodies may find difficulty reversing the consequences. During the interview, Dumbrille also looks at the local economic factors of organized crime in Latin America and the diversifying nature of criminals due to deceased profits from other illegal activities.
If your organization is having challenges with your investments in Latin America, let's have a conversation regarding your specific situation and how we can help.
